How to check a Rust server’s wipe schedule

Copy the server’s connection address, add it in the dashboard and enter the expected wipe time. Slx Rust Tracker sends an advance reminder and separately confirms the actual wipe from the server’s own data. Do not rely only on the server description: its schedule may be outdated.

01

Copy the connection address

Use IP:PORT or connect IP:PORT. Slx Rust Tracker checks the query port and server name for you.

02

Add the server

Open Servers, paste the address and check the name found. You can change the label if your team uses a shorter name.

03

Enter the expected wipe time

If you know the schedule, enable reminders. Slx Rust Tracker warns your team in advance so you can prepare.

04

Watch for confirmation

An actual wipe is identified from changes in server data, including the seed and A2S rules. This differs from a normal restart or a temporary lack of response.

Practical example

Prepare for a weekly wipe

Add the server by its connection address, enable notifications and check the expected wipe date. Before starting your session, open the server card and verify that its seed or other wipe indicators have actually changed.

Check the result

  • The card matches the correct IP address and query port.
  • Server population and name are being updated.
  • The expected wipe time uses the correct time zone.
  • The actual wipe is confirmed by server data.
Things to know

Why population counts can differ

Some large or networked servers publish different counts through Rust+, A2S and their own proxies. Slx Rust Tracker labels the source and does not add incompatible values together.

Public catalogue

For popular servers, open the catalogue card and enable wipe notifications without adding an address manually.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a server to track wipes?

Copy its connection address and add it in the dashboard. For popular servers, open the public catalogue card and enable wipe notifications without entering the address manually.

Can I trust the schedule in the server description?

Not always; it may be outdated. Slx Rust Tracker therefore keeps the reminder time you set and separately confirms the actual wipe from the server’s own data.

What should I check during setup?

Check that the card matches the right IP address and query port, and that the expected wipe time is entered in your time zone.

Stop checking the schedule by hand

Follow a server for wipe reminders, population history and an alert when its queue reaches your target.
